Hello, I’m Laura.
Welcome to the Palm Learning Network - a growing community of parents, children and independent professionals. I founded PLN in early 2022 with the intention to evolve alongside the emerging educational needs of families, both in Mauritius and overseas.
My background is in teaching and educational leadership and I was raised, educated and professionally trained in England. I now have nearly 20 years of experience in outstanding schools across multiple continents. These experiences have allowed me to gain valuable understanding of a range of education programmes and curricula, and they mean I have been fortunate enough to work with some incredible families and colleagues from around the world - many of whom have inspired me both professionally and personally.
We all know that learning never stops, and so I try to live with this in mind each day. The world around us is ever-changing and I do what I can to grow and evolve in order to remain at the forefront of my profession. I believe that all aspects of my work centre around authentic, caring and professional relationships, and the best education involves ‘learning to learn’ - whereby we develop the skills necessary to adapt and thrive in a world where there is constant development and change.
I look forward to meeting you and your children soon.
